When I was the age of 18 years old, I was offered a position working with a DJ company. Upon taking the position I fell in love with the career!! I worked with that company for over 3 years until I decided to take it upon myself and buy my own equipment and venture out on my own!!
At the age of 20-21 I was once working independently; Deejaying "Weddings, Corporate events, House parties, Graduations, ETC." After a many successful years on my own, I then decided it was time to work with others in the field! Upon this interest I applied to work with 1, 2 Step Entertainment! After meeting with the owner Tom I knew we would become a great team.
I have been working with 1, 2 Step Entertainment now and I would not change a thing! We all work great together with professional communication and understand. Be it that we apply these skill to one another or clients, we find ourselves succeeding month by month!!
As a Disk Jockey, I love the feeling of success, while knowing I'm offering my personal best!! I find it difficult to express all the feelings I get while DeeJaying, but I know those feelings are right!
As a Disk Jockey at 1, 2 Step Entertainment I will be looking forward to making your event as memorable as it should be, while offering Professionalism with a smile!

Starting from just a small child I have been around music because my father is a musician. Over the years, I have developed a strong appreciation for playing, creating, and studying music. When I was sixteen and a live band roadie, I had no idea my passion and knowledge of music would progress into what it is today.
What started as just hobby at seventeen has evolved into a part-time profession using a wide variety of skills I have obtained. I take pride in working for such a great company and with this experience it will help further my career in the music field.
Music is my future and the excitement of being a disc jockey is incredible. I am attending Wayne State University for music production in the fall and the experience I have gained from this career has been crucial for aiming for success.
I really appreciate this opportunity that 1, 2 Step Entertainment has given me and I look forward making every event just as re-memorable as the last!

Tom started Djing at the ripe old age of 14. Growing up in a very large family he had many musical influences help mold his tastes and make him as eclectic as he is. At the age of 14 he began DJ'ing Teen nights at Company B's in Mahwah NJ.
From there he grew to performing at school dances and sporting events. After High School, Tom decided to enroll in the Institute of Audio Research where he learned the skill of Audio Engineering. While in school Tom keep Djing everything from weddings to Macy's Special Events to night clubs, including Jay-z's 40/40 Club in Manhattan.
After earning his degree Tom joined a national tour and met his wife on that tour. In 2009 Tom and his wife moved from New York to Michigan where he opened 1, 2 Step Entertainment here. Tom loves and appreciates all of the support and trust that the brides put into 1, 2 Step Entertainment. Since 1999 Tom has loved entertaining and looks forward to hopefully performing for your event in the future!!
